You Have to Work Hard for Your Money Online

August 10th, 2010 | Category: Facts,Guide

When I started out with my first home base internet business, I was taken up an offer of having my own website build within 24 hours which was ready to earn residential incomes and maximize profits with 5 others affiliate programs. To be honest, my first website was cool. However, my credit card started to feel pain. My first payment was to buy a domain name and a hosting account. Then, by following what we called step-by-step instructions, I began my quest by joining affiliate programs.

Then, I needed to join and opened an account to have an auto responder. Again, I have to pay an upgrading fee. Then, the next instruction was buying leads to generate an opt-in list. Next, I needed to advertise to Google ad words and several pay-per-click programs.

Using Search Engines at Their Finest

July 10th, 2010 | Category: Facts,Guide

We all need to look for things on the web but depends on how we go about it. Understanding the working of a search engine is not indeed that complex. Having said that, a search technology in itself is very sophisticated and yes, a lot complicated to understand for the ones with limited technical knowledge.

The working of a search engine can be compared to that of a huge library with books on diverse subjects. Both of them have one thing in common i.e. they both deal in information. A huge resource of information is a prerequisite for both of them to work.

Trade on the Web with What People Want

April 10th, 2010 | Category: Facts,Guide

In terms of building affiliate sites, this means that I focus on product-related keywords and key phrases. People searching for products do so to research and “make sure” about a purchase decision, in most cases. And some are literally searching for the order form.

A small percentage do so for other “non-buying” reasons, but the majority are either on the verge of buying and in need of a little “push” – or they’re simply looking for the place to insert their credit card number because of previous research.

Kids Getting Worse due to the Internet

November 29th, 2009 | Category: Facts,Guide,News

As a whole, the kids of today should feel lucky that they have the benefits of the Internet to use in terms of research and doing their lessons. It makes easier for them rather than hitting the books or looking for relevant lessons in the daily paper.

The weird thing is that kids today even have to get the help of tutors which should not be the case. Perhaps education is lifting the level a notch but it should not be an excuse. With that in mind, is the Internet good for education or just for games and entertainment for kids today?

A Guide to WinMx

This product is intended to trade songs and videos transversely the Internet using “peer to peer” (P2P) networking.

It works like this: thousands of customers install WinMX on their PCs, and freely open their hard drives to each other. As these thousands of people log on to the Net using WinMX, the pool of available WinMX hard drives changes moment-to-moment. Every WinMX user is authorized to search for songs and movies, and then begin downloading and uploading music files to each other. Equitable sharing of music and movies is endorsed, and people will often share gigabytes of files with their fellow WinMX users.

This WinMX P2P network system employs its own custom file sharing client software, created by FrontCode Technologies. The WinMX is highly controversial software because of copyright laws, and WinMX users do risk possible fines and lawsuits.
